Space Radiation.
Research focusing on cosmic radiation, modelling of the space radiation environment, particle flux variations, and radiation effects on spacecraft.
Ionosphere and Space Weather.
Studies of ionospheric plasma dynamics, ionospheric disturbances, magnetosphere–ionosphere coupling, and space weather phenomena affecting systems and technologies in orbit and on Earth.
Education and Public Outreach.
Activities aimed at education, research training, and the promotion of space science among students, young researchers, and the broader public.
History of Space Physics in Bulgaria.
Research documenting the historical development of Bulgarian space science, including the Intercosmos programme and the contributions of leading Bulgarian researchers.
